IBPS PO Exam Pattern

IBPS PO exam is conducted every year to recruit candidates for the position of a probationary officer at various government banks in India. This exam is very popular as it gives the bank job aspirants the chance to work for some of the biggest banks in the country. Except for the SBI, all major banks like Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, etc. recruit the officers through this process. The newly recruited candidates are placed in the probation period generally for a period of one to two years.

The IBPS PO recruitment process is conducted in three phases – prelims exam, mains exam and the interview. After clearing these three rounds, you will be selected as the officer. Here is the IBPS PO exam pattern:

After learning about the exam pattern, you must start the preparation for these exams. Go through the detailed syllabus and make sure that you cover all the topics in a thorough manner. Take mock tests at the starting of your prep to learn about your weaknesses. Then prepare specifically to improve upon those areas and build on your strengths at the same time.

The IBPS PO admit cards are generally released a few weeks after the last date of registration for the test. You can easily download the same through the official website of the IBPS.  Make sure that you get the print outs on time as you’ll be required to produce the same on the exam day.

Do not get distracted during the prep as you must stay focused. Keep working hard till you achieve your goals.
