UPPCL Office Assistant Exam Pattern 2018

Part III: Typing Test for Officer Assistant

• Merit list for Typing test (Part III) will be based only on the marks scored in part II.
• This exam will be conducted in both Hindi & English language.
• For the Hindi Language, the typing test will be taken in Kruti Dev 010 or 016 Font.
• Candidates will have to participate in the typing test where typing speed will be calculated on the computer.
• Total Duration of this test will be of 5 minutes.

Candidates are required to participate in the typing test where the selection will be based as follows:

• For Hindi – minimum 30 words per minute
• For English – minimum 35 words per minute

The test will comprise of 20 marks & if the candidate does not meet the above requirement then he/she will not be qualified.

UPPCL Stenographer Paper Pattern 2018

The stenographer exam will also be conducted in two parts which are mentioned as below:

Part I: This test will be of computer knowledge which will be 50 questions carrying 1 marks each.

Part II: This part will test your mental ability as well as your general awareness which are mentioned below:

Part III: Shorthand Test for Stenographer

• To be qualified for this test the candidate has clear the Part II examination.
• In this test, the candidate has to participate in the Hindi dictation test which has to be noted down within 5 mins.
• within the typing speed of 60 words per minute.
• Candidates will be given 30 mins. to type that dictation on the computer with Kruti Dev 010 or 016 Font where the total timing of the test becomes 35 minutes.
• If the candidate does not meet the above requirement then he/she will not be qualified.

Important Note 

• The written test will be of multiple-choice objective questions & total time duration of 2 hours.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark applicable to both the sections.
• To be qualified for part II the candidate must attain minimum 20 marks in part I which is of qualifying in nature.
• Both Part I & Part II will be conducted on the same day and if the candidate does not attain the minimum qualifying marks in part I then answers of part II will not be evaluated.
