आज हम आपके लिए लेकर आये हैं –इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय भारती ग्रुप सी, डी इससे आपको इस बात की जानकारी मिलेगी कि भारत में कितने उच्च न्यायालय हैं और इनकी स्थापना कब हुई? आपके लिए सामान्य जानकारी के साथ साथ यह किसी भी परीक्षा के GA सेक्शन का प्रश्न भी हो सकता है. तो चलिए , पढ़ते हैं विस्तार से – भारतीय संविधान के भाग छः में अनुच्छेद 214 से 231 तक उच्च न्यायालयों के गठन, न्यायिक क्षेत्र, शक्तियों आदि के बारे में बताया गया है। सातवें संविधान संशोधन अधिनियम, 1966 (अनुच्छेद 231) में संसद को यह अधिकार दिया गया है कि वह दो या दो से अधिक प्रदेशों के लिए एक साझा उच्च न्यायालय (हाई कोर्ट ) की स्थापना कर सकती है। 1862 में कलकत्ता, बंबई तथा मद्रास उच्च न्यायलयों की स्थापना के साथ भारत में न्यायिक संस्थाओं का गठन शुरू हुआ। भारत का सबसे पुराना उच्च न्यायालय – कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट है जिसकी स्थापना 1862 में हुई थी। आंध्र प्रदेश के अमरावती में स्थित आंध्र प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट देश का सबसे नया तथा 25वां उच्च न्यायालय है। वर्तमान में भारत में 25 उच्च न्यायालय (हाई कोर्ट ) हैं जिनकी सूची निम्नलिखित है-
